Day 1. Arrival at the Entebbe Airport and transfer to Murchison falls national park.

Your guide will meet you at Entebbe Airport for 10 days Uganda and transfer to Murchison falls national park. On your way you will visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking and then after continue to the park with a visit to the top of the falls and if time you will go for a late evening game drive with chances to spot the big cats hunting. Day 2. Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise.

After a hot Ugandan coffee, Set off for a morning safari to the circuits of Murchison falls national park; this will give you chances to spot the big cats hunting lie the lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals plus other animal species like elephants, buffaloes, hippos, antelopes, giraffes among others and a variety of bird species like Abyssinian ground hornbill, starlings, eagles, vultures, hawks etc.  OVERNIGHT HORNBILL BUSH LODGE

Day 3. Transfer to Kibale forest national park.

Prepare for a long journey to the western part of the country to Kibale forest area. On your way you will pass through the local markets, local villages with different kinds of people plus a variety of tea plantations as you target to have lunch in Fort portal town and then continue to the lodge for a night. Day 4. Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park.

After breakfast you will drive to the kanyanchu where briefing is conducted and then after head to the forest to search for the chimpanzees. Chimpanzee trekking is an activity that involves moving to the forest with armed ranger guides to search for the chimpanzee since they always tend to move from place to place looking for food, after meeting the chimpanzee you are allowed to interact with them for 1 hour as you take as many photos as you can. The forest also harbours other primates like red tailed monkeys, black and white colobus, blue money plus other animals like forest elephants, buffaloes, bush bucks, duikers among other. After the trek you will then head off for a 3 hour drive to Queen Elizabeth national park. OVERNIGHT PUMBA SAFARI COTTAGES

Day 5. Morning game drive in the kasenyi sector and afternoon boat cruise.

After breakfast, go out to explore the kasenyi sector of Queen Elizabeth national park with chances to spot the big fours here like lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes plus other animals including kobs, hippos, warthogs, bush bucks, baboon and bird species like African white backed vultures, white headed barbets, double toothed barbet, ross’s turaco, sulphur breasted shrikes, African paradise flycatchers etc. and then after drive back for lunch. After lunch you will go for a 2 hour boat cruise on the Kazinga channel, here you get chances to spot the water loving mammals like very large of hippos that you never seen elsewhere before, the Nile crushing machine the Nile crocodile plus elephants, buffaloes on the banks of the channel. The channel is also a home to a number of aquatic bird species including the endangered African fin foot, African Jacana, goliath heron, African fish eagle, kingfishers and many more others. Day 6. Transfer to Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park and afternoon game drive.

After an early breakfast set off for a 4 hour drive to Ishasha sector for tree climbing lions. You will pass through the park boundaries with chances to spot more animals and birds as you continue to reach the lodge in time for lunch. After lunch go for an afternoon game drive with the aim of seeing the tree climbing lions plus other animals and bird species that you might have missed in Kasenyi. OVERNIGHT TOPI LODGE

Day 7.   Morning safari and transfer to Bwindi.

Take another game drive in the morning to explore the open savannah of Queen Elizabeth national park in the Ishasha sector with a number of fig trees that act as roosting places for the tree climbing lions especially when it is on a hot day. Here you also spot other animals like Elephants towards the far part of the river, buffaloes, and antelopes, warthogs, among others plus a variety of birds, reptiles and amphibians towards the swampy areas of Ishasha sector. Drive back to the lodge for an early lunch and then after depart for a 3 hour drive to Bwindi passing through the terraced hills and thick forested areas as you check in to the lodge for dinner and relaxation. Day 8. Gorilla trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.

After breakfast go for the most exciting experience of the safari to see the man related creatures ‘gorillas’. Gorilla trekking starts with a short briefing of about 30 minutes at the park headquarters where you will be told the dos and don’ts of the trekking, then after you are divided in groups of 8 individuals and assigned a specific group of Gorillas and then you enter the forest with the ranger guides to search for the Gorillas. You will be allowed to stay with them for one hour as you take as many photos as you feel like. The forest also harbours other animals alongside the gorillas like bush bucks, forest elephants, buffaloes, duikers plus birds and reptiles. After the trek you will stretch to the far west to Lake Bunyonyi a good place for relaxation.

Day 9. Transfer to Lake Mburo national park and afternoon game drive.

Here you will take off for a 5 hour drive to Lake Mburo national park through the cultivated hilly areas of Kabale expecting to reach the lodge at lunch time. After lunch you will go for an afternoon game drive in Lake Mburo national park. Though it is the smallest savannah park in Uganda but it holds a lot of animals that can enhance your travel experiences like buffaloes, hippos, zebras, giraffes, impalas plus a number of bird species like hornbills, weavers, starlings, vultures, eagles among others.

Day 10. Morning safari walk and transfer to Entebbe.

Wake up early morning to explore the park on foot with an armed ranger guide, this gives you a very close interaction with the animals and birds plus removing that fatigue of long hours in the vehicle. After the safari walk set off for a 7 hour drive to Entebbe with a stopover at the equator for photography and sometimes lunch depending on time as you continue to catch up with your flight time.
