DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO KIGALI, RWANDA

This 6 Days Gorilla & Chimpanzees Trekking In Rwanda  begins after your flight‘s arrival at Kigali Airport in the where you will be happily welcomed by our company representative/ your safari guide briefed  and transferred to your accommodation for check in , you can enjoy a guided Kigali city tour and visit some interesting, historical sites like Rwanda genocide.  Overnight at Chez Lando.

DAY 2:

• TRANSFER TO NYUNGWE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

• VISIT HISTORICAL SITES

After breakfast your safari guide will meet you at your hotel and embark on a 6hrs drive you to the Nyungwe Forest National Park. Along your journey you will visit Nyanza, the former Mwami’s (King’s) as well as the National Museum at Butare; one the finest ethnographic museums in East Africa. And have lunch. After lunch you will continue driving south to the Nyungwe Forest National Park where you will have the chance to see a variety of wildlife living in the forest. Later you will arrive and checking and relax as you wait for next day chimpanzee trekking activity that requires some physical fitness. Overnight and dinner at Nyungwe top view Hotel lodge

DAY 3:

• CHIMPANZEE TREKKING

• NYUNGWE CANOPY WALK

Wake up to a pure Rwandan made breakfast and then transfer to the parks offices to be briefed about the dos and don’ts of chimpanzee trekking activity before the forest opens its doors for your to trek chimpanzees, spend this morning on an amazing primate walk in search of the habituated chimpanzees in Nyungwe Forest. You will have the best opportunity to encounter humankind’s closest living relative in the early morning hours. This time will also give you a higher chance to encounter other animals and bird species in this park. In the afternoon you will return to the lodge for lunch. In the evening you will take off on a canopy walk where you will view different animal species and beautiful landscape. After this walk you will return to the lodge for dinner and Overnight at Nyungwe top view lodge

DAY 4:

• TRANSFER LAKE KIVU AND GISENYI

After an early morning breakfast, still on our 6 Days Gorilla & Chimpanzees Trekking In Rwanda we continue a 4hrs to Lake Kivu the largest lake in Rwanda and located amidst  mountains and green hills. Later In the afternoon, you will drive to Gisenyi in Rubavu via Kibuye Road. During this drive, you will have the opportunity to see Lake Kivu and the daily lives of the people who have lived in this countryside for centuries, virtually unchanged. This is a very scenic route and provides the opportunity to see the people at work – cultivating bananas, cassava, sorghum, beans, rice, potatoes and even coffee in their steep and tiny fields. In addition, there are several massive tea plantations, villages, innumerable tiny brickworks, and surprises around every corner. Arrival at Gisenyi and you can go for a boat ride on the lake exploring the small islands and rich birdlife. Overnight and dinner at Hotel Paradise Malahide

DAY 5:

• VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK

• GORILLA TREKKING

Very early in the morning on agreed time with your safari guide and take off on a two-hour, drive to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze province where the gorilla trekking Rwanda tour will deliver on its top highlight. Upon arrival, you will enjoy breakfast and then take off to the park headquarters at Kinigi for a thorough briefing about the dos and don’ts of this adventure. After the briefing, our tour guide will transfer you to the starting point of the gorilla trek. This takes about 1-6 hours depending on the gorillas’ movements. Later maybe Visit Ibyiwacu culture village center. Overnight and dinner at Le bamboo gorilla lodge

DAY 6:

• VISIT TWIN LAKES

• DEPARTURE

After breakfast, you will explore the crater lakes that are situated just outside Volcanoes national park. The twin lakes are Burera and Ruhondo, you will enjoy amazing views and scenery of the Volcanoes Mountains and the lakes. Thereafter transfer to Kigali and continue to the Airport for your international flight.
